The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) hired Pavone, a marketing company operating out of Philadelphia, to lead a rebrand of their group to help boost membership rates and engagement. Pavone reached out to the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, whose students created art pieces to reflect PAMED’s new brand initiative; The Art of Medicine.
The new initiative focused on three buckets that are problem areas for physicians: Time, Money, and Autonomy. This piece focuses on physician autonomy. I wanted to convey visually how doctors are limited by, for example, laws mandating certain treatments for certain diagnoses which are slow to change with updates to medical science.
